Award winning Irish theater plays Oslo for one night only

Just back from New York with his Edinburgh 2015 hit ‘Little Thing Big Thing’ Irrgrønn productions is delighted to bring Donal O’Kelly and his solo show ‘Fionnuala’ to Oslo on the 19th of Nov 2015.
The play is of particular relevance to an Norwegian audience as it explores the consequences of the installation of a gas pipeline by Shell in the centre of a rural community in the West of Ireland.

Previous solo shows by Donal O’Kelly include the award-winning Catalpa, Bat The Father Rabbit The Son and Jimmy Joyced!, all of which toured extensively throughout the world. His play Little Thing, Big Thing was a hit in Edinburgh 2015 and played New York in September 2015. His play The Cambria about Frederick Douglass played New York and won the Irish Echo/Amsterdam News Black and Green award. His radio drama serial Francisco won the 2013 Prix Europa for Best Drama Serial and the Gold Medal for Best Drama Special in the 2014 New York International Festival of Radio.We are thrilled to be presenting this work in the intimate surrounds of The Nordic Black Theatre.
