In other Oslo GAA related news, the new webpage is due to come online in the coming weeks. It will be available at www.oslogaa.com and will be the first port of call for new and established club members. There is also talk of a club social some time before the beginning of the season: watch this space!!!
And lastly…
Oslo GAA has been contacted by a growing number of women seeking to play Gaelic football. At present the female and male players train together, however, if demand from the fairer sex continues to grow Oslo GAA may seek to establish a seperate Women’s Team. After a long winter of waiting for the snow and ice to melt, Oslo tag rugby has resumed.
A number of sessions have taken place in Vigelandsparken, Majorstuen with a turn-out. For those who don’t know what tag rugby entails, it is a non-contact, mixed sex sport with a social emphasis. People of all skill levels and nationalities are welcome: from “never even watched a game of rugby” to “SCT”.

For more information, see the “tag rugby” page in our sports section where you can follow the link to Oslo Tag Rugby’s Facebook group and rules of Tag Rugby.
